MCP server

Kiri inside Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other AI tools

Connect your AI assistant to Kiri with one link. It can then speak Khmer and English in natural voices, transcribe recordings, and read the transcripts already in your account.

Tools your assistant can pick up

The Model Context Protocol is the open standard AI apps use to reach outside tools. Kiri publishes its speech, transcription and voice tools as one MCP server; any host that supports it can call them mid-conversation, on your account, with nothing to install.

Speak text in a Kiri voice

Ask for a paragraph, a script or a translation read aloud in Khmer, English or both. The assistant returns a link to the audio file.

Transcribe a recording

Hand it a link to an audio file and get the transcript back as text, subtitles (SRT/VTT) or JSON with word timestamps. Long recordings run as a job the assistant checks on.

Discuss what you already transcribed

Everything you transcribe on kiritts.com or with the extension is listed by file name and date. Pick one and ask for a summary, the decisions, or a translation.

Clone and manage voices

Create a cloned voice from a short clip, list the ones on your account, and use any of them for speech — or delete one you no longer need.

Connect from your tool

Pick the app you use. Most sign in with your Kiri account in a browser tab; the rest take an API key.

  3. 3

Under Authentication pick “Always required”. Under OAuth client keep “Use Anthropic’s hosted client metadata”. Click Add.

  4. 4

Click Connect. A kiritts.com tab opens — sign in if you are not already, then Approve.

  5. 5

In a chat, open the tools menu (the sliders icon) and switch KiriTTS on. Then just ask.

    Try

Say សួស្តី ពិភពលោក in the Maly voice.

Free, Pro and Max accounts can add custom connectors. No API key is involved: Claude holds a token you can revoke from your dashboard at any time.

You approve, you revoke

Signing in shows exactly what the app may do. Disconnect it any time from API keys → Connected apps.

No key in the chat

Hosts that sign in hold a short-lived token, refreshed on their own. Nothing is pasted into a conversation.

Same credits, same voices

Speech and transcription draw on your plan like the web app; cloned voices are yours to use here too.

Questions

The Model Context Protocol is an open standard that lets an AI assistant use outside tools. A “server” describes what it can do — speak text, transcribe a file — and hosts such as Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor call those tools when a conversation needs them. Kiri’s server lives at mcp.kiritts.com and works with any host that supports remote servers.

One URL, one approval. Everything else is a conversation.
